The Friends for Life program provides public awareness and education in Suicide Prevention through school and community presentations, and intensive two-day Suicide Intervention Workshops. We promote the development of the knowledge and skills necessary for the enjoyment of social and emotional health. Our proactive approach provides schools, organizations, communities and citizens with presentations, workshops and resources.
Presentations and workshops are available on such topics as anger management, suicide, depression, balanced lifestyles, stigma, relationships, bullying, cutting (self-harm), laughter, self-esteem, social skills, stress, conflict resolution, etc. Our resource centre houses hundreds of books, articles, videos and programs, which are available for loan through our website or call 1-800-461-5483 (in Saskatchewan).
